Amerigel Barrier Lotion is a dual dimethicone/silicone skin protectant that shields the skin from exposure to excessive moisture. Particularly useful for pressure and friction areas, skin folds, draining wounds and incontinence. Amerigel Barrier lotion provides antimicrobial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory benefits but does not penetrate the skin. It contains Oak bark extract, emollients, and has a very slight citrus fragrance.

For those who suffer with a latex allergy, wash your hands and apply the Barrier Lotion. The skin will be insulated from coming in contact with the latex. Many feel like it is an “invisible glove” or “second skin,” especially food-handlers, letter carriers and housekeeping staff. Apply Amerigel Barrier Lotion in between toes to minimize friction and subsequent irritation. Usage on adult diaper rash will not adversely affect the absorptive action of the garment.
