Mepilex Ag is a novel antimicrobial dressing since it combines silver with Safetac soft silicon technology. The dressing absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. It begins inactivating wound-related pathogens within 30 minutes of application to the wound, with sustained effect up to seven days.
