Philips FR2/FR2+ Training & Admin Pack is an accessory that can be used with you Philips HeartStart FR2 or FR2+ AEDs (models M3960A and M3861A) or Laerdal FR2 or FR2+ AEDs (models M3840A and M3841A). The Training and Administration Pack allows you to convert your AED above into a non-shocking training unit and allows you customize or reprogram your FR2's setup. You can also use the pack to optimize your FR2 to the latest American Heart Association CPR Guidelines. When used as a training tool, adult training electrode pads (part number 07-10900) or infant/child training electrode pads (part number M3871A) may be used. The Philips FR2 Training and Administration Pack includes the Pack itself, one pair of adult training electrode pads, and an instruction booklet. The administration function of the Pack lets you:

• set the time and date on the FR2's clock
• read setup from a data card
• receive setup through the FR2 via infrared communication
• manually modify setup of the FR2
• send setup from one FR2 to another via infrared communication
• write setup to a data card

Although the Philips Training and Administration Pack contains a rechargeable battery pack, it is not suitable for use on a patient. The Pack is yellow and has a "flag" attached that remains visible outside of the defibrillator when in use to distinguish it from the AEDs real battery pack.
