Medline Suresite Transparent Film Dressing is a transparent film wound dressing that is often used to protect I.V. sites, surgical incisions or areas of the skin that are at risk for further trauma. It is also used to cover other dressings.

Indications:

• Partial thickness wounds (as secondary dressing only for full thickness wounds)
• Peripheral and central I.V. lines
• Skin tears
• Lacerations and abrasions
• To help prevent skin breakdown caused by shear and friction

Contraindications:

• Contraindicated as a primary dressing on moderately to heavily draining wounds.
